- A salt chlorine generator makes chlorine from a small amount of salt in the water, so you're not constantly adding chlorine by hand. The result is steadier sanitizer levels and water that feels softer and easier on skin and eyes.
- Will a salt system damage my pool?
- It can — on a pool that isn't built for it. Salt can corrode galvanized walls and some components, so we only install salt systems on salt-rated pools. We won't sell you something we know will damage your pool.
- Can you convert my existing chlorine pool to salt?
- Yes, if your pool is salt-rated. We install the cell and control board, tie it in, and commission the system.
- What warranty comes with a salt system?
- The new equipment carries a 5-year non-prorated parts-and-labor warranty from the manufacturer — versus the one-to-three-year parts-only coverage that's standard.
- What does salt system installation cost?
- It depends on your pool and equipment pad, so we give a free phone quote. A $149 on-site service call gets you a firm number and is credited toward the work.
