Pool Leak Detection in Central Oklahoma

Pool losing water? ProLeak finds the leak and fixes what we can on the spot — $499 flat for inground pools and $399 for above-ground, with vessel repairs included and no trip charges. We use electronic leak detection, pressure testing where appropriate, and dye testing — not dye-and-guess. We work on both inground and above-ground pools across the Oklahoma City metro.
What's included

Other companies charge to show up, charge again to find the leak, then charge a third time to fix it. ProLeak is one flat rate with the on-site repairs included.

  • Full electronic leak detection
  • Pressure testing to isolate leaking lines
  • Dye testing at fittings, lights, skimmers, and liner
  • Vessel repairs we can make on site (included)
  • Equipment-pad and plumbing inspection
  • No trip charges, no mileage fees
How we find it

How we find a pool leak without draining it.

Most pool leaks can be found with the pool full. We start by confirming it's a leak and not evaporation, then work through the pool methodically: electronic listening for water escaping a pressurized line, pressure testing to isolate which line is leaking, and dye testing to pinpoint vessel leaks at the liner, skimmer, returns, and light niches. When the leak is in the underground plumbing, pressure isolation tells us exactly which line to chase before anyone digs.

Before we drive out,run a 24-hour bucket test — it rules out evaporation so you're not paying to find out the pool isn't actually leaking. We'll walk you through it when you call.

Both pool types

Inground and above-ground.

We detect leaks on both — and they fail in different places, so we check the right things for your pool.

ProLeak focuses on leak detection, equipment upgrades, safety covers, and seasonal openings and closings. We don't provide weekly pool cleaning or chemical maintenance.

Straight answers

Pool leak detection — common questions

How much does pool leak detection cost?
$499 flat for inground pools and $399 for above-ground pools. Both include the detection and any vessel repairs we can make on site, and there are no trip charges or mileage fees.
How do I know if my pool is leaking or just evaporating?
Run a bucket test first: float a filled bucket on the step so the water inside matches the pool level, then compare the drop after 24 hours. If the pool drops more than the bucket, you likely have a real leak. In an Oklahoma summer, losing roughly a quarter to half an inch a day can be normal evaporation.
Can you find a vinyl liner leak without draining the pool?
Yes. We locate liner, skimmer, return, and light-niche leaks with the pool full using dye testing and electronic detection, so there's no need to drain it in most cases.
Can you find underground pool plumbing leaks?
Yes. We pressure-test the lines to isolate which one is leaking, then locate it — return lines, suction lines, and main drains included.
Do you repair the leak after finding it?
Whenever it's a vessel repair we can make on site, yes — that's included in the flat rate. Larger plumbing repairs are quoted before any work begins.
Do you charge a trip or service fee for leak detection?
No. The flat $499 inground / $399 above-ground rate covers the visit, the detection, and the vessel repairs we can do on site.
